Junior Beta Club
hosting canned food drive

The Scott Central Junior Beta Club recently inducted 43 new members.   These students are in  grades four through eight.  The club is hosting a canned food drive to support a local charitable organization in Forest, the Carlisle Crisis Center.   This center provides food, clothing and other services to those in need in our area.
Please help the Junior Beta in their efforts by sending canned or boxed food items by a student or you can drop them off at Scott Central. The deadline for this drive will be Friday, December 15th.
Congratulations to Jalen Derricks, Alexis Gutherie and Kaitlyn Kyzar, all part of the SC Rebel Pride Band, on being chosen to attend the Mississippi Band Masters clinic in Natchez, MS.
Scott Central will host the 2017 Alumni Baseball game that was scheduled to December 9th has been postponed until February 2-3, 2018.
Deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Cindy Harrell. Mrs. Harrell was one of Scott Central’s most dedicated supporters. She was especially devoted to the SC Baseball program where she volunteered hundreds of hours and tirelessly worked to make improvements to the program.   Her many contributions are very much appreciated and she will be greatly missed.
