Back to School

After what felt like the longest and coldest Christmas break, Scott Central students and teachers returned to school this week.   Scott Central students and teachers came back to see that improvements to our campus had been made during our absence.  New windows spanning the front of the high school and cafeteria were completely installed and they look great.  Also, work was begun during the break to lower the hallway ceilings which will improve the appearance and energy efficiency of the school.

Report cards will be issued on Thursday. There will be no school on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Congratulations to Jonathon Sigrest on recently being chosen as Scott Central Teacher of the Year!   Mr. Sigrest teaches Algebra I, Foundations to Algebra and Eight Grade Math. He is  also an assistant softball coach and sponsor of the Bible Club. He is an asset to Scott Central and very deserving of this honor.
