Rush of Christmas
shopping is upon us
Gone are the days of normal traffic and easy to find parking places for the remainder of this month. I am trying to get my shopping finished so I can stay out of the congestion. I tried online shopping but couldn’t master that project! Great way to get in the Christmas spirit – get a friend or two and check out sales and be in the hustle and bustle of the season!
Salem Baptist presented their Children’s program “An Out of The Box Christmas” on Sunday night (12/3). Their Director, Nicole Smith, made the following statement about the program - “We pray that God uses our program to show your heart that even though this Christmas may be backwards or upside down or totally out of whack for you this year, the story of love and grace of God is still there .... unchanged and untouched and it’s still the miracle that makes Christmas so real in our hearts.” (All the Christmas presents in the world are worth nothing without the presence of Christ.” - David Jeremiah)

Life is what you make of it! Even shut-ins can look at T.V. Christmas tree lighting - read stories aloud of Christmas past - watch the old, old Christmas stories or reminisce about Christmas’ past. Don’t let it get you down! Put good thoughts ahead of depressive thoughts!
Have a God blessed week and share it with someone!
