Hunter opens new salon in Sebastopol

Emily Ann Monk Hunter, Owner/Stylist, opened the door and welcomed everyone in during the Grand Opening of Be-YOU-tiful Salon in Sebastopol recently.

Hunter is the daughter of Arthur and Lisa Sistrunk Monk, the granddaughter of Thomas and Mecia McKee, and the late Buddy Monk, and Mike and Peggy Graham, all of Sebastopol.

Lanell Wooten is one of the arts and crafts vendors who set out her wares at Creative Christmas in Forest last week. She is a talented hands-on artist who creates beautiful Christmas tree ornaments out of quality plastic that is so clear it looks just like glass.

Eligible recipients must show all required documentation for all members of their households.

City of Forest                      Garbage Schedule

City of Forest garbage will be picked up as usual Monday, November 20th, Tuesday, November 21st and Friday, November 24th.
The garbage pick-up will change for Thursday, November 23rd to Wednesday, November 22nd.

Mr. Kenneith Ray Pinter, age 69, passed away on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at his home in Forest, MS. Visitation was held on Friday November 24, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:50 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.
