Hunter opens new salon in Sebastopol

Emily Ann Monk Hunter, Owner/Stylist, opened the door and welcomed everyone in during the Grand Opening of Be-YOU-tiful Salon in Sebastopol recently.

Hunter is the daughter of Arthur and Lisa Sistrunk Monk, the granddaughter of Thomas and Mecia McKee, and the late Buddy Monk, and Mike and Peggy Graham, all of Sebastopol.

According to the general definitions of this term, the majority of us have been or are impertinent with others and with God. That means that we often do not keep the due respect when we insult someone. We are of a hard and ungrateful treatment, and in our daily work, we are imprudent.

Charles Emmons

Charles Aubrey Emmons, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Wed. Nov. 15, 2017, while surrounded by his family. Visitation was held at Ott & Lee, Brandon on 11/17 and Services were held at Crossgates Baptist in Brandon on 11/18.  Interment at Floral Hills Memory Garden, Brandon.



Barbara Babs Beach Day

Babs Beach Day was born August 5, 1948. She passed away in her sleep on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017 after losing her battle with cancer. Babs attended Murrah High School in Jackson, MS and graduated with the class of 1966. She received her BS degree in History from MS State University. Babs was a resident of Morton MS for the last 14 years.

Mr. Jimmy E. Ware, age 83, passed away on Monday November 06, 2017 at the Bedford Care Center in Newton, MS.
Visitation was held on Wednesday November 08, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:30 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS and again on Thursday November 09, 2017 from 2:00 p.m.until 2:50 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS.
