Billy Moore Pace

Mr. Billy Moore Pace, age 83, passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at his home in Forest, MS. Visitation was held on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS and again on Sunday November 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at Cash Baptist Church in Lena, MS. Funeral Services were held on Sunday November 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cash Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Savell and Rev. Kenny Lang officiating. Burial with Military Rites followed in the church cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Pace was a member of the Cash Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World, the Telephone Pioneers, and the North Central Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vergie Lou Pace; his parents, L.D. and Ima Pace; two sons, Mike and William Pace; two sisters, Sara Hurtt and Wilma Pace; and two brothers, James and Jimmie Pace. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Lynn Walker of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Mary Norris of Meridian, MS; two brothers, Jack Pace and Milton Pace both of Meridian, MS; five grandchildren, Josh Slay, Erika Engburg, Gina Shuler, Crystal Sheffield, and Brandon Walker; and a host of great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Lath Harrell, Jeff Harrell, David Gatewood, Danny Wayne Weaver, Rod Sanders, and Elvis Shaw.
