A $1,000 scholarship is being offered to high school seniors planning to become nurses. Quick Bites is a program offered through the Mississippi State University Extension Service that provides timely information on a wide variety of topics to citizens across the state through interactive video. These programs are held during lunch (from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m.) on Thursdays at the Scott County Extension office, 230 South Davis Street, Forest.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, please call the Extension office at 601-469-4241. Mississippi State University Extension Scott County will be offering information on Collecting, Sending and Interpreting Soil Sample Results on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 6:00 p. m.  Please pre-register by Thursday, March 22, 2018 by calling the Scott County Extension office at 601-469-4241.
