God’s Love Is Unconditional

God will never give up on us, He won't forget us or our needs, and He loves us in spite of our lack of faith no matter what we’ve said or done.  His love is unconditional!  What a gift!

God’s desire for us is to learn to trust Him in all matters.  Trust equals peace.

“O Lord, you will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you” Isaiah 26:3.

I often write about trust because it seems to be an important issue regarding our walk with God.  It’s easy to say and declare that we trust Him “until” we get attacked with worry, doubt, and fear, which actually means, “I don’t trust you, God.” If we don’t fight these feelings, worry, doubt, and fear will escalate into panic.  The best antidote to strengthen our faith is to meditate on and confess His promises that are in His Word, prayer (which changes everything), and choosing to give Him thanks that He will take care of you!

“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made” Psalm 145:13.

When we meditate on His Word, knowing in our heart He doesn’t lie, break promises, or “forget” us, we can walk with confidence that He will keep His promises and answer at the proper time.

I still remember the old church hymn, “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus….”   How true!  Jesus is the only answer to our situations and circumstances that appear like giant mountains in our way.

Friends, I encourage you to not be moved by those negative situations and circumstances that will try to crush your faith in God and steal your joy.  The best way to strengthen your soul and mind is to pray and meditate on His Word with a thankful heart.  The Bible is powerful weapon to fight the attacks of worry, doubt and fear.

I encourage you to begin making a list of all your answered prayers throughout the years and place them where you can reflect. Sometimes in the waiting period (God always has perfect timing), when the devil tells you that God won’t answer your prayer request, and discouragement tries to attack, you can remind the devil and yourself that your Heavenly Father does indeed answer prayer!

Yes, I’m a walking testimony that my Father does answer prayers!  He always does what’s best for me.  He’s never early or late with His answers, and if His Word says it, then I believe it!

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.  My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song” Psalm 28:7.

Friends, don’t give up on trusting Him.  He hasn’t and never will give up on you!

Remember, God loves you unconditionally!  You don’t have to earn it!  It’s free!
