God’s Rewards

It is difficult for many to understand that we inherited a sin nature from the time of the original sin. As a result, it is always difficult to be faithful and obedient to God. At the same time, many do not recognize that we can overcome evil with faith and obedience to God, and there will be rewards because everything He sends us is good.

The eternal enemy of God is present in the world and disguises himself by making those who are unsuspecting believe that he is the way to heaven and salvation, and because we are sinful in nature, we can easily be tempted. Today’s man likes to discuss everything and everyone including God himself and because of that, he disobeys what is established in the Word of God. Their faith is weak or absent in their decisions. The weak and the unbelievers ignore that God is not discussed — only obeyed.

By yielding to the flesh there is given a place for disobedience to the Creator and giving a place for condemnation from which we are liberated only if we repent. That is why it is important to believe in Jesus, to follow him and to know his teachings: “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” (John 3:6, 35-36 ESV) Everything natural in human beings can only be transformed into that which is spiritual by obedience to God and only by faith. Obviously the call of the Lord involves sacrifices on our part since all true disciples are willing to separate ourselves from anything for God. This bears fruit in our lives with incredible and unexpected rewards.

Let us not forget that God Himself did not spare His Son, the only begotten Son and gave it out of love for us. The love of Christ is so great that it was given as a sacrifice so that our sins would be forgiven. The salvation that believers enjoy was bought with the blood of Jesus.

Our faith requires concessions and we should not seek explanations for those things that come from God since we can only accept them by always giving thanks. The certainty of His presence in our lives is real, and joy and peace do not require explanations, we just have to keep walking with Him confidently.

Let’s not worry about the gifts that the Spirit is in charge of giving us. That means that some receive money and others do not, some have health and others do not, some are wise, others are not, etc. Alone we have to walk among the thorns without looking back and try to be good children and members of the Kingdom of God. Then we will realize how many blessings and rewards we have received.

May God bless you.
