Food Recall Notices!
If you have products that have a recall – don’t use – destroy, please don’t think the side effects will not happen to you. This current warning on Romaine Lettuce is very serious! There is already evidence of kidney failure due to consuming this product. If you know anyone who is suffering from this failure, you know it is not something you want to risk. I was happy to toss what I had and salad is not as appealing after hearing the news!

Just read an interesting article about Denny McLain. “I’ve got a whole lot of things to talk to God about.” Fifty years ago, Detroit Pitcher Denny McLain, now 74, became the last Major Leaguer to win 30 or more games in a season. But after baseball, McLain’s life fell apart, and he spent time in prison. He talks about triumph, disgrace and the road to redemption. A quote from this article — “I’ve got a whole lot of things to talk to God about. Number one is, you have this old-age thing screwed up. We should have been born as old people and aged into childhood!” (My Mother always said life was backwards too!)
