The Forest High School Choirs would like to invite you to our Renaissance Madrigal Feast Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Forest United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
You will be taken back in time 500 years to a Renaissance castle complete with a king, queen, royal court, jesters and musical performances by over 60 choir students. Experience this unique evening all while enjoying a delicious feast.
Tickets are $12.00 and may be purchased through the choir students, or at the Forest High School main office.

First Baptist Church Morton will host their annual Christmas Cantata Sunday December 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. This year’s Cantata is "Peace" symbol of the Dove. Once again Choir Director Barbara Ott and Multi Media Director and Drama Director Dr. July Lewis have put together a wonderful program that all ages can enjoy. Come early to get a seat. These programs have been known to have many from other churches as well as locals from surrounding area attend. There will be beautiful Christmas music, drama, multi-media and special effects. There are always surprises to delight everyone. Mark your calendar for the second Sunday in December.
Everyone is invited to attend a special concert at Salem Baptist Church, 2380 Salem Rd, Lake, MS, on December 10th at 6:00 pm. It is a night to remember with the Browder's from Hilton, VA! This will be their only stop in MS on their Christmas concert tour! The Browder's will be singing Christmas music both old and new! Walnut Grove United Methodist will host the Annual Community Christmas Carol Sing with renown pianist Irene Martin on Saturday, December 16th at 5:00 PM. Walnut Grove UMC is located at 209 Spruce Street (across of Leake County High School) in Walnut Grove.
